No, I haven’t become anti-Nokia

Recently a friend suggested I have become “anti-Nokia” but I’d really like to set the record straight on that. What follows is a long discourse on why I gave up on Nokia and what I think their biggest failure is when it comes to guys like myself. This is from someone that has been using Nokia phones since 1995 and been loyal to the Symbian platform since 2001. This is why I gave up on Nokia and Symbian.

Cisco announces the new CRS.

After significantly hyped up language on Monday, with claims of a new product that will “forever change the Internet and its impact on consumer, businesses and governments,” at Tuesday’s press announcement, Cisco releases a new Carrier Routing System, CRS-3, thats ultimately nothing more than a speed improvement over the CRS-1.
Destiny Church Beat Up

A discussion regarding a fake website that many are wrongly attributing as being a legitimate site belonging to Brian Tamaki and the Destiny Church. I think it is wrong for bloggers and media to attribute the site to Tamaki when it is easily verified to not be the case. I include an audio recording of my call to Destiny Church to verify exactly that.
Public response to Telecom problems unreasonable

The hostility towards Telecom NZ in recent weeks has been completely disproportionate to the network issues they are suffering. Calm heads and cool tempers are needed right now, not disproportionate emotional responses.
